Poster Requirements
Remember to write your full name, grade and school name on your poster. If you do not do this we will be unable to give you your certificate or prize at the end of the contest (e.g. Jane Doe, 3rd Grade, Milton Avenue School).
Make sure your poster is between the size requirements. Any posters that do not follow these rules will not be able to be considered as winners or honorable mentions.
Try to choose a unique scientist that you have interest in! We all learn about Marie Curie and Jane Goodall in school but there are many more incredible female scientists that deserve recognition for their contributions to science.
*Posters may be submitted to your school’s front office.
Biography Requirements
Elementary Schools: 4-5 sentences detailing the life and achievements of your chosen scientist, why you are interested in her, and how she inspires you.
Lafayette School: 100-200 word biography detailing the life and achievements of your chosen scientist, why you are interested in her, and how she inspires you.
*These are all the minimum requirements. Feel free to write more if you would like!
